THERMOCOUPLE TUBES

Ceramic thermocouple tubes or Thermowells are used when temperatures exceed 1000 degrees C and the useful life of metallic Thermowells is very short. Ceramic Thermocouple tube provides a gas tight protection at higher temperatUres and protects the sensing element. IndUstrial Ceramics makes thermocouple tubes in IC-60, IC-80 andIC-99.7.As per European Standards DIN VDE 0335/IEC 672.
  • Type C799-Maximum temperature of use 1800 °C
  • 80% Alumnia-For temperatures U p IO 1600 °C
  • Type C530-For temperatures up to 1600 °C
  • Type C610-For temperatures up to 1500 °C
  • Industrial Ceramics manufactures Thermocouple Tubes starting from 3mmOD to 50mmOD.
  • Higher Diameters can be made on customer request. Lengths up to 2050mm can be manufactured.

INSULATING BEADS

Insulating Beads are used to insulate two wires o(the sensing element. These are made in various sizes and shapes (round and oval) having single, twin and multibore. Diameters starting from 0.8mmOD and upto 2050mm long. Made in Type C-610 andType C-799.

LABWARE

IC-99.7 with a hardness of 9 on Mohr's scale, and having non-absorbent properties is an excellent choice for various types of crucibles and boats commonly manufactured labware in 99.7% alumina & 80% alumina.

ELEMENT SUPPORT TUBES AND ROUND RUFFLES AND CAPILLARIES

Heating element support tubes and Round Muffles are Used for supporting heating elements in Electrical Furnaces, sintering Furnace (or automotive industries, melting furnaces for non-ferrous industries, heat treatment furnaces and other applications. We manufacture these tubes in IC-60, IC-80, IC-99.7 with diameters ranging from 1 mmOD x 0.5mmID to 250mmOD in lengths up to 2050mm long.

COLLAR TUBES

Collar tubes are used for insulating the heating element terminal and the Furnace shell. Industrial Ceramics manufactures collar tubes having ID ranging from 2mm to 150 mm and lengths Up to 1.7 Mtrs in IC -60, IC-80 andIC-99.7

RADIANT TUBE HEATER DISCS AND SPACERS

We manufactUre discs and spacers used for manufacturing bundle rod heaters which are used in sealed quench, forging and heat treatment furnaces. Radiant tube heaters have an advantage of easy replacability reducing down time.

MUFFLE

Sillimanite muffles made by IndustriaI Ceramics are made in standarcl sizes. High thermal shock resistant and contamination free IndUstrial Ceramics Muffles ensure long life of heating elements as well.

BRICKS AND SUPPORTS

Electrical furnaces used in non-ferrous melting, annealing, heat treatment make use of grooved bricks for carrying heating elements. Suitable designs are available for arch, sides, hearth and pit-type furnaces. Refractory hooks for supporting the heating elements, ceramic tubes are also manufactured.

INDUCTION HEATING

Induction furnaces are used extensively for heating of rods billets for forging application. Typical furnace construction consists of metallic rods passing through the core of spiral induction coil housed in refractory castable. Problem would arise when the castable degrades & castable debris sticks to billets eventually spoiling dies and leading to increased rejection rates.

SAGGARS

Saggars are used to protect ware from open flame, smoke, gases and kiln debris. Industrial Ceramics manufactures saggars of various shapes in Mullite, Sillimanite and other compositions to suit customer specifications.

FERRULES AND TUYERE SLEEVES

Tuyere sleeves are used in blast furnaces and are sU biect to extremely hig h temperatures. Industrial Ceramics manufactures Tuyere sleeves as per customer specification and design upto 92% Alumina. Ferrules are used to protect the tube inlets o( shell and tube (rom hot gas corrosion and hot abrasive particle erosion. IndUstrial Ceramics grode IC 80, IC 95 and IC 99.7 are capable of withstanding any demanding application.
